Rionero Sannitico was part of the Kingdom of Naples before the unification of Italy (1861).

Hello! I am interested in the term used for the white hood/veil worn by women in Rionero Sannitico. My great grandmother wore it (Antonia Silvestro Angelone) in the photos (only 3) we have of her. Someone said they are called ‘juammacigl’ in the Rionerese dialect. Any info you have would be appreciated. She was born in 1853 but I’m unsure of when she died.
