  1. I am searching for a book written about all the people that immigrated to the United States in the late 19th and early 20th century. Can you help me?

    1. Hi Henry, a reference text is for sure “Emigration in a South Italian Town: An Anthropological History” by William A. Douglass. Not easy to find though. Best regards.

  2. If anyone has any information on the Melaragno family I would love to hear. My GreatGrandfather Sabastino Melaragno, listed Vastogirarrdi as his home town in a naturalization record. I was told that his father, santo Melaragno died suddenly when he was about 10 or so. His DOD was 12-19-1895. My great grandfather left at 16 years old and traveled alone to the U.S. I have no photos, and no other info. My Grabdmother, his daughter is deceased as well. Any info on the missing ancestors would really help so much. I would love to know more about my heritage and family because family is Everything. Thank you
