My grandmother, Josephine Colia Proietti immigrated from Toro around 1926. Her mother was Vittoria Serpone and her father was Salvatore Colia. She had a cousin, Luigi Grosso, who lived in the US for many years and returned to Toro. Luigi had a daughter, Teresa, who visited my grandmother in Luke, MD USA. I am looking to contact family from the Colia, Grosso, Serpone families
My grand fathers sister Anna Iacobacci married a Michele Serpone and both are from Toro! They lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina! My grandfather Domenico Iacobacci came to the USA in 1911 and was living in a boarding house with a (I think) a Luigi Serpone!! Piedmount west virgins and Luke Maryland !!
Interesting connection
Nick Iacobacci
