Frisa is a municipality located in the province of Chieti at 237 meters (778 feet) of altitude. Frisa has 1889 inhabitants and a surface area of 11.49 square kilometers (4.44 square miles).
The municipality of Frisa also includes the following suburbs: Colle Della Fonte, Badia, Colle Alto, Guastameroli, Vallone.
Frisa was part of the Kingdom of Naples before the unification of Italy (1861) and belonged to the former Abruzzo Citra province.
