Farindola is a municipality located in the province of Pescara at 530 meters (1739 feet) of altitude. Farindola has 1601 inhabitants and a surface area of 45.47 square kilometers (17.56 square miles).

The municipality of Farindola also includes the following suburbs: Casebruciate, Centrale, Cupoli, Fiano, Macchie, Pagliaroli, Rigopiano, Ripe, Ronchetti, San Quirico, Santa Maria, Trosciano Inferiore, Trosciano Superiore, Valle d'Angri, Vicenne.

Farindola was part of the Kingdom of Naples before the unification of Italy (1861) and belonged to the former Abruzzo Ultra I province.

  2. Do you mean Cirone? My grandparents are from Farindola and the correct spelling was Cirone. It was changed to Cherone after they came to Americia. It is possible that we are related.
