Canzano is a municipality located in the province of Teramo at 448 meters (1470 feet) of altitude. Canzano has 1955 inhabitants and a surface area of 16.74 square kilometers (6.46 square miles).
The municipality of Canzano also includes the following suburbs: Piano di Corte, Piano Vomano, San Martino, Santa Lucia, Santa Maria, Sodere, Valle Canzano.
Canzano was part of the Kingdom of Naples before the unification of Italy (1861) and belonged to the former Abruzzo Ultra I province.
