I am searching my father’s genealogy, when I get to Anna Scipone b 1789 in Abbateggio, married Felice Zaccagnini and further back some records say Abbateggio AND Santa Eufemia a’ Maiella. I know they are both in Abbruzzi, but is there another connection between the two areas. When I look at a map they are about 21 minutes apart by automobile.
Hi, I am related to the zaccagnini line from Abbateggio, Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy. Specifically a small portion who immigrated to New York in the late 1800s and changed their last name to Zeck.
