  4. Hi, I’m wondering if anyone knows where the name came from? My great grandfather was Giuseppe delGiudice and as far as I know all his family is from Benevento. Just curious is there was someone named delGiudice who helped name it or where it came from.

    Thanks!

  5. My family who came from Castel Del Guidice are Zaccardi and Berlone. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1912. Supposedly one of the families had a farm and trained horses. Anyone have information on Zaccardi family in that region?

  6. I am interested in obtaining birth and death record for Vicenzo Alfonso Mosesso and Maria Cleufa Mosesso.

Hopefully I can begin applying for Italian citizen ship with these records.

  7. Hi Daniel,

I think thats the farm in Holbrook that Dominic Mosseso owned.
Was your grandfather born in the south end?

    Thanks,

  8. Hi Daniel,
My grandmother, Olga Zaccardi, was from Castel del Giudice. Her father’s name was Albert and she named my father Albert, and I too was named Albert. She immigrated to the U.S. in the 1920’s/30’s, settling in Boston where she married my father Pierino De Felice (who rather coincidentally was from not-too-far Caramanaco, Abruzzo). I don’t know much else about my Zaccardi side of the family, except that she did have a brother, Edward, that also moved to Boston. Do you, or anyone, have any other info about the Zaccardi family??

    – Albert De Felice

  9. I would like to learn more about my relatives in Castel del Giudice. My grandmother arrived in the US in 1912. Her family name was “Sacarlatelli” and my grandfather was a “DeSalvo” (I suspect it was originally DiSalvo). I’m not sure how to best go about it. Any suggestions?

  10. My grandparents are from there and I visited in the 1980s. Would love info on my grandfathers parents. Nick Gentile. Had about 12 siblings. Met one sister, Theresa, long time ago who immigrated to Bahia Blanca Argentina. Nick Followed a few brothers who came here but I know nothing of those who stayed. My grandmother is Filomena Gentile. I have a decent handle on her side.
