My American is spelled Fracasse .we know that is incorrect . We have documents showing it spelled fracassi or frogosso . we feel this was altered at the entry at ellis island . my grandfathers first name was Giovani , his wife was Antonette . I think she was from Calabria area .
He arrived in early 1900’s .Had 4 sons and 3 daughters . I have very little documents , the spelling is so inconsistent . Thank You .
