Rosciano is a municipality located in the province of Pescara at 242 meters (794 feet) of altitude. Rosciano has 3663 inhabitants and a surface area of 27.79 square kilometers (10.73 square miles).

The municipality of Rosciano also includes the following suburbs: Villa San Giovanni, Villa Badessa(Badhesa), Villa Oliveti, Piano Fara.

Rosciano was part of the Kingdom of Naples before the unification of Italy (1861) and belonged to the former Abruzzo Ultra I province.
