I am trying to get information on my grandparents mother and fathers. Cesirio Ciancarelli married Giusseppa Colasanti. Salvo Petrocco married Filomena Mastrogiovanni. Are there any relatives still living.
I am trying to find information about my great-grandfather Luigi Filippo Cellitti, born in 1862. His father was Eustachio Cellitti born in 1818 and his mother was Maria C. Fusco born in 1824. There were a number of children born to Eustachio and Maria. Luigi(1862) had an older brother Mariano(1850). Both brothers immigrated to America around 1890 and worked as coal miners in Pennsylvania before migrating to Chicago. I believe the Scanno family worked raising sheep, and their mother, Maria, was a weaver of wool. I would like to know were the family lived in this historical city and any other information we can learn more about the family. Don Camelo, previous pastor of Santa Maria del Valle, was a cousin to my father, Louise P. Cellitti. We got to meet Don Camelo when we visited Scanno back in 2006. He was so good to show us around the church. We would so appreciate any added information you can provide on the Cellitti family.
Thank you,
Phyllis Cellitti McEntire
