I have learned that my family immigrated to the United States from there. Their last name is Lanese. I am trying to find more information on them.
Angelo Custode Lanese emigrated in the early 1900s. I believe his wife’s maiden name was Ernestine Coletti and his father may have been Michele (Lanese). Is this helpful?
My paternal grandparents were from Ripalimosani. Tomas Sabatino and Marijuana (Jenny) Minotti. I think they moved to Bridgrport, CT in 1908. Tomas was a stone mason who dabbled in scuplting and his tribute to WWI was panned by the critics but it’s still standing.
