    1. I just started researching my Cinelli history and came across your message. I too found a Muccigrosso in our family, her first name is Philomena and who married Giuseppe Cinelli. Any relation?

  1. I am trying to find out any information I can on Carlo Domenico Cordone son of Giuseppe Cordone. Possible birthdate 1865 or 1885. He immigrated to the US in 1889 leaving his wife behind (Antonia Cinelli Cordone) and son Giuseppe Cordone who married Giuseppa Falcone.
I have started a Facebook open Group called Cordone Genealogy to track his ancestry. If anyone can shed some light on this family I would appreciate it.

  2. Jill Cordone-

Since my father recently passed, I started looking into all this. Carlo Cordone (also Cardone) was my great grandfather on my dad’s side. I do not use Facebook. I certainly can tell you about the family he started in US. I would be interested to know further back in his ancestry on the Italian side. Thanks.

  3. My grandmother was a di Lecce. Her parents were from macchia valfortore. I don’t see anyone by that name listed in the phone book. Did they die out?
