Hello,
Please excuse my English,
I am looking to trace my family back and see if there are still any porcelli relatives to Francesco porcelli who moved to England late 1800!!
He would have been my great great grand father!
BW Louise
Hi Louise,
I am a Porcelli. My great, great grandfather Silvestri Porcelli was from Conca Cascale and moved to England sometime between 1885 to 1890 and settled in Liverpool. He travelled with his brothers, Daniello who settled in Liverpool and Fransesco who we believe settled in Glasgow Scotland. Family history tells us that the brothers were on their way to America, but the journey was too long so they embarked the ship at Liverpool, making a life in the UK.
