In America where I grew up (Newton, Massachusetts) the predominantly Italian neighborhood has it roots in Navelli and Capestrano, Italy. My family search is for three surnames: Santucci, Federico and Taglienti. I hope to visit those ares soon and see where my ancesters lived. Thank you very much.
My Grandmother’s maiden name was Spera and I’ve been able to trace her back to Vincenzo Spera and Laurina Corsi of Capestrano. I’ve been to Italy in the past, and would really love to come back. I would love to visit the commune to see if I can find any trace of family or at least see where they came from. If anyone has information about the Spera family, I would greatly appreciate it. Grazie!
I am trying to find out if Stefano Senatori (my great grandfather) is buried in Capestrano. He died in 1943. We will be visiting Capestrano in November. Any information would be appreciated. Grazie!
